I am taking to WP for this one because this involves a lady giving me mixed signals that leaves me to wonder what the heck she's thinking: here is a brief summary of my history with her:

I met her in gym class during the 2nd semester of senior year(January-May 2019). I had a crush on her then. Fast forward to February of this year, she acts happy to see me a few times in a row in which I go to the grocery store that she works at. In one instance, she smiled and waved at me from like, 30 feet away. I eventually ask her if she would like to hang out and she said yes. We hung out two times in less than a week. After those two times, she tells me "Thank you for the lovely evening" and "I had a great time".

Even during that time period, she proves to not really be much of a texter. She goes long periods of time without texting me.

You guys already know what happens next. I ask her about meeting up again a couple times and she makes excuses/doesn't really make an effort. I stopped making any more efforts with her.

There have been a few times recently where I see her at the grocery store and she waves at me in a positive manner, and during my trip to the store in particular, she showed the very thing that made me think that she was interested in me back in February. However, I'm sure that if I were to try to text her, things would not be what her smiles indicate.

Why are women so hard to understand? Sheesh!

Sounds like she is happy to be friendly, but isn't interested in going out on dates.
Why is that so hard to understand?

It's time to extinguish this flame, forget about her.

Remember, there's never 'too busy', there's just a list of priorities.

I have to agree.

How could I have suddenly not become a priority after we hung out twice in a week? Especially after what she said at the end of both dates?
