was wondering, if any one knew of a free dating app for people with ASD.
I have looked online for such things, but realise that there are only a few of such apps for people with ASD.
I believe all of them people have to pay for, and one that sounded promising (aspergersingles.com)
apparently had some problems, due to the designer and admin's for the site father dying.
Which led a few people getting overcharged for a dysfunctional site, who ended up getting really angry,
because they didn't know why the site wasn't working and why they were getting charged for nothing.
Sad to hear of the designers loss, it sounded like a promising site as the designer had designed the site with her mum,
and had included a lengthy questionaire that analysed your answers to create the best matches for you.
I was thinking that if someone made something similar but put it up for free, then it would be more likely for success.
Personally, i wouldn't mind paying a little towards a quality site, that got results, however, i think that many people are a bit worried about paying money for a dating site, due to so many scams there are out there.
I also understand that developing such a site also takes time as well as money, so i can understand why some charges may be necessary and fair.
Its just bit of a difficult one for people with ASD, as we are far from being easy customers.
We are generally more temperamental than most so perhaps a bit harder to please or match up with others.
still perhaps worth doing, as i think that people with ASD are more often than not in need of a partner.
Well at least during their down time... I know people with ASD are often also very independent, i guess we end up that way because we have no other choice...
still. would be good if such a site existed.
