I think there's a broader range of people you're ok to fancy than people you're ok to approach.

For eg if there's a sexy married lady in a monogamous marriage.

It would be wrong to approach her.

But it wouldn't be wrong to notice that she's hot.

Not sure if it would be wrong to admit it if your friend asked?

Maybe depends on if you know her or if she's a celebrity on TV.

Cos if you know her wife/husband that might cause drama.

If it's someone you know, or someone known by someone within your social circle, then keep it to yourself unless you're sharing it with a friend that keeps the closest of your secrets.

Having a crush isn't wrong. Sadly we can't act on all of them. Likewise there is nothing wrong with admitting it, as long as you will not cause harm.
