Do you feel like you will never have sex in this life and you will be forever alone. I still don't feel that way. There is still hope for me although it's small but after my 30 birthday I will just give up and accept that my fate on this world is programmed to be sad.

When I was 28 I met a woman online and we went on a date. She more or less outright admitted she had low self-esteem and that she sleeps with anyone who shows her attention. And I was tired of being a virgin. I ended up with two STIs and I had no further interest in seeing her again.

That was 10 years ago, and I still have never been intimate with another woman since then.

I would just point out that I said a romantic relationship, not sex, but given that the thread was started about sex, it's perfectly understandable that you got the impression you did.

I never had sex till I got in my current relationship & I was almost 30. I wasn't majorly wanting sex thou, I wanted a relationship much more than I wanted sex.

I used to think 30 was this magical number after which I would give up as well.

There's actually nothing special about 30. Plenty of people date in their 30's. It is not weird. I don't know why I used to think it was :shrug:

I'm almost 40, and my body just isn't what it used to be. I don't want to be too descriptive, but let's just say things don't work as well as they used to.

I used to have a strong libido and I felt like I needed sex regularly. There's still something there, but it's not as intense as it used to be. I've even been to strip clubs and had private dances, and I still barely felt anything.

I think its too late for me now.

I always say the same thing to people who have a massive monkey on their back called "virginity" and that is just go somewhere where it's legal and get a half decent escort or call girl.

It's not worth beating yourself up over the mystery of it potentially for years when getting rid of that monkey is just a phone call away.

Losing your virginity isn't really that amazing though to be fair.

Not everyone can afford to travel the world on a whim.

i'm not against this but I think this is a decision people should seriously analyze & think hard about. It's not something people should do on a whim. Some people will regret losing their virginity to someone they're not in a serious relationship with. Plus escorts, call-girls, prositutes are more likely to have STDs,STIs
