Anyway, I can't stand the types who call some dates "low effort".

How's about enjoying things, not just spending money for the hell of it?

They're slagging off women who want to go hiking or just have coffee... I enjoy those things! I'd rather have a partner who wants to interesting and fun things with me than a bore who just throws money around.

I like hiking....I don't drink coffee.

The last "expensive" date I went on was New Year's Eve 1979 into New Year's Day 1980.

I took my girlfriend out to dinner and bought a bottle of Piper Heidsieck champagne. Probably around $200 in 2021.

I am with XFG on this. The thread is not about discussing dating strategies as much as it is about advising women to find any excuse to break off a relationship with a man or to avoid men entirely.
