Hello everyone, can anybody tell me if there is a weekly AS support or social group in the London area, and if not, would anyone be willing to discuss the idea? I have very recently been diagnosed with AS and have spent so much time and commitment over the last 15 years working on relational issues and OCD within a 12 step and exclusive NT communities.

I love this site and all the help I am getting off the internet in this time, however I also feel the need to meet people.

Much peace to you all

Chris

Hi Chris

Are you looking for a date or friend meets?

I've not met up with fellow ASDers yet but here is a thread for general friend meets

Personally I prefer the smaller more improvised meets. Just been my experience that that large formal meets don't help me

Kahless meet sounds interesting but I have to say I was slightly put off reading though his posts about this meet he holds.

I'm not really a major drinker, and I can't drink with my new medication anyway.

I do have *some* experience of meet ups from an anxiety site, though usually leave it to others do the plan. I have arranged some honest :)

I might be up for meeting in a number of weeks, just need some time now to do other things.

Hi,

Try National Autistic Society and DANDA for details of meetings in London for people with AS / neuro-diversity.
