My daughter and my dog.

Both require things to be done, every day at certain times. Taking my daughter to and from school, making her meals, putting her to bed - these things tend to structure my day. I walk the dog every day after dropping daughter of at school. If I don't she gives me the hairy eyeball all day.

Most other things in my life are frustratingly irregular.

I have a very inconsistant schedule these days partly because of my girlfriend. She spends a lot of time visiting different family members & they have different schedules than Cass has. She wants to spend some time with me before she leaves & when she gets back. She changes her schedule at home some cuz she's not feeling well sometimes & I'm forced to adjust so I can spend some time with her. She changes her schedule for appointments & shopping trips as well which also screws up my schedule since I go with her. I've had some very bad meltdowns in the past about her being much less accomedating for me than the rest of her family. Now I just bite my tounge which is extremely difficult when she actually complains about me not spending enough time with her or me not getting enough sleep. I don't know when she'll be asleep or awake when she's here & I can NOT spend time with her while she's up & also get my sleep at the exact same f#cking time  :wall:
