There was an article from 2009 about a man with down syndrome. His mother was so desperate for her son to lose his virginity that she was willing to pay for a prostitute.

Do you think a prostitute would be willing to have sex with a down syndrome man or not?

I think some would and some would not. I do not think that Amsterdam (past or present) would be the best place to do that. Because it a tourist attraction, it does not provide good service. Also, there is not someone to speak to that is in charge. One day I observed a little person (not sure of the correct terminology) be rejected by a prostitute in Amsterdam. He told her that some accepted him and she told him in return that some do and some don't.

To put it in perspective, some prostitutes are willing to do the **** version of sex with some people. It has a set standard price at FKK Clubs in Europe. Those places answer the phone when you call them and provide information. You can even eat there and the food is really good. That is where I eat dinner. Part of the problem the mother would have is she would possibly not be allowed in some establishments. Her son might need a male relative to help him. There are RLDs, Brothels, and FKK Clubs in Europe that are not tourist attractions. There are also a variety of other places in the world where it is legal.

I think it would not be a problem for someone with Down Syndrome to go a prostitute. You don't even have to speak the same lanquage. You hardly have to say anything at all. If you aren't doing anything fancy, it is the same routine everywhere. It is what I have heard referred to as half and half. If you tell a prostitute that you are a virgin and you don't know what to do she will tell you can just ***** it in. It is really not hard for some women to have sex with men. I can't speak to the complexities of that because I am not a woman.

When you really get in trouble is when you deal with people who are not prostitutes but would like to scam you. I may not even be diagnosable so my experience may be different than most. My apologies if this was not pg13.

This is perfectly legal & there are indeed prostitutes willing to do this. In a care home I worked at, one Autistic individual had this exact service.

What's the difference? Some men look normal and clearly are NOT. I doubt someone with Downs will consider beating a prostitute up after being serviced. A lot of men do them harm for no reason at all.

I saw my first escort at age 22. Back then, I was ugly as a rhinoceros's butthole. No "free" woman wanted to do anything with me, and even hugs were a stretch. (I did get my first kiss for "free", but we were both super-wasted, which covered up my ugliness.) So it was either pay for it or become a 40-year-old virgin, a real fear instilled in me by a movie of the same name. So I went online, did my research and due diligence, contacted an escort, and the rest was history. I must say: She was very nice and tolerant of my nervousness, also one of the top 10 escorts in my city at the time. Seeing her cost me $300 for 1 hour, but man oh man, was she worth it! I was finally a non-virgin!

So to answer the OP, yes, a prostitute will accommodate a man with Down Syndrome. Don't mention it when scheduling, provided that you're capable of typical social interactions. Just take a shower within an hour of coming (or do it at her hotel room), show up, pay her immediately, and have fun. If a top-10 escort in my city could bring herself to have sex with someone as ugly as me, there's no reason a more rank-and-file escort won't have sex with a man with Down Syndrome.

As for the prostitute who turned down a little person, I'm not justifying a discriminatory action on her part, but the large height difference often makes many sexual acts difficult or impossible. Not unlike a large height difference making partner dancing awkward. And having a lot of pre-existing clients, she decided it wasn't worth it.

The prostitute doesn't necessarily have a choice. It's not exactly a dream job. If she has to make money, she will do what is required for that to happen. She answers to a pimp, not a life coach.

I think that would depend on whether the young man also had a learning disability (which is common with this syndrome) and if so how severe this was. Its a question of his capacity to make an informed decision. In the UK at least, if someone lacks capacity and an action like this is not supported by a best interests decision involving a social worker then I would say that it is illegal - even if it is what a family member wishes to happen.

In the US you have to be declared legally incompetent. That is separate from a diagnosis of intellectual disability. So I would guess it's legal...where prostitution is...but I'm not an expert.

Hmm. An even more tricky thought is assuming it is illegal, would it be eugenics?

Depends on where her principles. Some might say no ..not if he isnt able to make an informed decision. And its a loaded choice to make

A does he understand and agree with the concept of prostitution?

B does he understand and accept the fact she may not have been properly vetted for STIs ?

C. How would he feel if he contracted an STI?

D Is he emotional able to cope with the experience?

The more I look at the question .. I dont think this should just be about the Prositutes acceptance of him.

Emotionally sexual intercourse is about both parties , so then both parties feelings need to be taken into consideration.

Overall this seems to be about what his mother would like .. possibly even like to see . Who knows simply could be a question of perversion or the sexual abuse of her son.
