Feeling time is not on your side

Hello all,
I appreciate not everyone has visions of being a father. I do. I am 35 years old.
Does anyone on here feel time is passing them by and they're delayed whether it's professional or personal?
I graduated from university in 2008 and it was a struggle to get a paid job. I was 29 years old before I had a consistent income. Before then I was supported by either benefits and/or help from family members financially.
I would like to be a father and a husband. I feel I am behind when my classmates were getting married in their twenties and having children then.
