My younger brother who is 30 complains about his lack of a girlfriend yet 10 years ago he was in a committed relationship. The relationship did not last though because my brother was not really into her in the first place and was not always very nice to her.

Do you agree my brother has no right to complain since he messed up a big oppurtunity all those years ago?

Being that he wasn't very nice to her, he did the right thing by breaking up with her.

It's probably best not to complain----but to continue plugging away.

Well personally I think me and brother are running out of chances to find the right person especially now we are in our 30s.

I had a good chance with a girl in college back in 07 but I was not into her at the time. My friends tried to set me up with her but I was to stubborn.

If I could go back I defnintley would have gone out with her.

There is this 59 year old woman who has been chasing me since 2015 but the age gap is just way to big between us for me to even consider dating her.

You seem to do quite well with the older women I've noticed.

That’s not a good thing I would rather date women my own age.

I don't think anyone has the right tell anyone else what they can or can't complain about. As for running out of chances to find someone to have a relationship with? Hogwash - everyone alive still has chances to find love.

It’s not fair that everyone my own age is marrying and dating partners in there age range and I have to settle for old people.

Well I still say it’s third rate to settle for someone thirty years your senior when all your peers have partners there age.

Would you agree or do you think age is a just a number?

I don't know. I've been in age gap relationships when I was younger but I had issues and so did he. I grew out of it in the end but I thought I loved him at the time and I wouldn't have said I was settling back then.

People fall in love all the time with all manner of people no matter what age. I suppose it's whatever you're drawn to.

If you don't want to be with someone who is 30 years older than you then dowbe with them. You don't have to settle for something that you're not happy with.
