There's a third option, she could physically attack Jamesy

In real life, unless she’s really drunk, women don’t attack men merely for stupid pickup lines.

Women usually don’t act like idiots in public like men sometimes do.

She attacked you?

If you mean the f-off that’s often just banter between friends or people who are comfortable together (See my Option 1). For example I’d tell Recidivist or WAI to f-off in a joking way if we’d had a pint and they made me laugh.

Option 2 would be reserved for trolls or people who didn’t respect my boundaries. If I drunk-danced with someone years before and he was still acting like I owed him a relationship or my affection, depending on the circumstance I’d tell him to f-off in no uncertain terms.

Village drama.

Same people at a bar year after year.

Are you sure you weren't so drunk you were talking to the bicycle left outside?

She didn’t attack him, it seems to me. She merely gave him the brush-off.

I think I would be scarred for life if one had turned to me and said "Bugger off, mate!" in a deep, manly voice.

I know I would be. I won't have said something that dumb, but I've had other blunders.

Fnord surprised me, he seems to know the psychology of single white women better than I thought

You don't get to stay happily married unless you know a thing or two about how the operating system works in the other sex.

That's harassing and shaming.

I was just talking about the shock and trauma from the unexpected encounter.

The video: *SPOILER*

OMG I was almost in tears. I would have been there with my loud mouth beating the hell outta those pigs and helping the woman. I was so shocked that anyone would act like that black man or give two shites about another person's gender. I'm so glad he was in on it.

Quite rude of her to tell me to “f**k off” really but then alcohol can make people ruder I guess.

Actual behaviour like that is.

Just so you know, in no way was I implying you are trying to harass or shame, it was just my brain making a connection.
