In case somebody needs to know, a moderately autistic man was bullied by a woman at his job in an American fast food place, had a meltdown, and was fired for having a meltdown. By way of dealing with this, he posted here that he wasn't going to talk to women again, with which I for one can sympathethize. Why he chose to post in L&D rather than The Haven isn't clear, however as this site purports to support autistic people of all genders, his situation ought to have been taken seriously. I commented on this thread asking him what sort of support he might have access to. It's possible subsequent commenters made misogynistic comments causing the thread to be removed, in which case f**k those people. This should be a safe place. Those who have been bullied IRL and turn to WP for support shouldn't find themselves bullied here as well.

I've heard recently that it's related to testosterone.

That member was banned after receiving warnings - not only for posting misogynistic statements and generalised hate against NTs, but also for making offensive posts and PMs about his obsession: poop.

For any new visitors - this thread is clearly satirical, and intended as a humorous take on recent (and many more not so recent) common complaints posted to L&D.

Yes this should be a safe place: The kind of place I don't have to think about men who blame large groups of women for the actions of one (or even a few). Ever heard of the Montreal Massacre? Ever heard of the Toronto van attack against women? I'm not saying the OP would get violent but this is how the ideology of femicide starts, possibly in other readers who haven't even joined the site. I live my life aware of the fact that some people out there are willing to kill me or my daughter, or even my daughter-in-law, because they were upset by the actions of some other female and they want to generalise. That's before you even factor in that we are autistic. That's before you factor in the ones who might know us and have a grievance against us specifically for whatever reason, as happens in people's lives from time to time.

I did try to help the OP and the other posters by educating them against bigotry and misogyny (or even "making generalisations" in general), but then I received a nasty PM from the OP which only reinforced his interest in humiliating women.

All I saw was that one thread and it seemed he was being bullied. I didn't look at his whole posting history and wasn't copied on his PMs. I thought he needed help to avoid getting fired due to meltdowns resulting from bullying. Sorry I didn't know the full story.

I have a relative in Montreal who works in journalism, in fact she WhatsApped me a couple weeks ago. Otherwise I don't think the Montreal Massacre is well known outside Canada.
