Did anyone actually doubt that men can also be victims of this sort of crime? 8O

Just a reminder: under international law, an occupying power has no right of self-defense, and those who are occupied have the right and duty to liberate themselves by any means possible.

I wouldn't say but society should certainly be aware. Would you argue that men on the AS aren't in fact more vulnerable than average?

EDIT I should add that the perpetrators are typically male.

^ Wouldn’t everyone say that people with autism are more vulnerable no matter their gender?

Statistically, women are more likely to be victims of this sort of crime, but it can and does happen to men, too.

Folks with AS are likely more vulnerable than the general population, regardless of gender.

I do think that sometimes the idea of men being at risk for such things is downplayed, but I can't imagine someone seriously trying to insist that these things never happen to men.

Men are even less likely than women to report sexual crimes than women, due to social stigma.

That goes for rape, sexual assault as well as any cybersex crimes.

Women rape men, as well as men who rape other men.

Also, as pointed out in the video, boys aged 14-17 are especially at risk, for reasons that shouldn't need explaining.
