I'm just prepareing myself ahead of time on this, since I'm starting an Aspie club at my college.

But say If I did have a crush on an Aspie girl.

How do I get her attention (say if she can't read facial or body language)?

How can I ask her out without the change of overwhelming her?

How will she pick up the point that I like her?

Aspie girls, you might know this stuff better than I do.

You could just, like tell her, then run away.

This has been done to me.

I found it charming.

Clarity is almost always best.

Write her a note.

What I'm chasing seems to have some
pretty aspie traits. I've been obsessing
over her for far too long. I think just getting
into a conversation, without any risk, is the
best start, and this should be easier in a
club setting.

Once you know them (which can be very quickly)
then just be honest - if they aren't direct first.

1) Grab a local paper and have a look at the movie listings. Pick three or four movies that you like AND that she might like.

2) Say hello. I know that this is as difficult as calculating SQRT(PI) in roman numerals but without this step you're going nowhere.

3) Ask her which she would like to see, movie 1, movie 2 or movie 3. If you do it this way she can't say no but if you just say "how would you like to see a movie" this is too vague and invites a no answer.

4) Enjoy your evening.

Find out a bit about whatever she's currently interested in, and talk to her about it. Ask her questions. Let her talk about her favourite thing. She will love you. When it seems appropriate, offer physical affection ie. hugs.

I don't understand how anything is easier in a club setting. It's so loud, and full of strangers. . . feels unsafe to me.

Unless if it's an Aspie club.

A note would most likely do it for me,or a poem; directly saying would probably unnerve me and I wouldn't know how to react, especially if I didn't like the person interested in me :P

Which is what I meant. You are starting a mellow
club, where people can just hang out. Seems much easier
than at a bar (or if you wish to be confused nightclub). :P

I'm dubious.

Tended to get along pretty well
with folks in my gaming clubs.

Though, without the shared interest,
I'm not sure how much similarity
is likely, it's gotta be worth a
shot.

I know how to get a waiter's attention at a restaurant.

Throw a biscuit at his head.

I found peeing on someone's
leg more effective.

You mean for being slapped?

Honestly, all most guys need to do is just pay attention to what us gals like and all. What annoys me most when guys come up to me is that they don't pay attention to notice anything but physical and don't care to pay attention to see the things I like and all. They seem to want to get to know me too much for more than "friendship" when I prefer to find someone that wants to gradually move from friendship to dating.

I sit around paying attention
ALL the time. Doesn't seem
to help.

They always want me to talk
or something. :P
