What does a man really mean when he says "You are my favorite"? (to a girl). Thank you for reading!

I'm guessing that he has a bunch of potential girlfriends, but he likes you the best out of the bunch.

Thank you. But he said he didn't have a gf yet.

He was taking picture of me, and I asked why, and he said, "because you are my favorite".

:)

Sounds like he's trying to flatter you, for whatever reason I can't be sure.

That sounds like a stalker, not an admirer. At best, maybe what rushfanatic suggested.

If I told my girlfriend that she'd probably poke me in the eye.

It's an odd turn of phrase. Hard to guage.

I remember it now, to be exact, he said, "You are my favorite person". I wonder if that makes more sense. Yes, it's really odd!

It doesn't mean anything, beyond the fact that he was trying to act cute.

I've said things like that to people many times without literally meaning it, just to make them laugh or start up some banter.
