i like this guy, we'll call him D.
and D was over last night, I am not sure D knows I like him, but he is one of my 3 roommate's friends.
anyways, we were talking, and we got to talking about stuff that we both have in common. and we were actually TALKING! about cool stuff.
well i got his number off of the roommate. and texted D today. and we have a meet set for friday, for I don't know what, but we are supposed to talk tonight on the phone. we are night owls, so that could be until sunrise for all i can think.

AND I AM SCARED, damnit.... (I am 23 I shouldn't get like this)

i have no clue what to do.

I'm 21 and I get nervous with ppl I like to. I'd say just keep doing what your doing and be happy and try to enjoy yourself when you talk to him. Odds are he likes you at least a little if he's talking to you and trying to spend time with you.

Talk to him the same way you did before about things you have in common.

ok.... he's taking me out, for food and wandering... i am doing better now... i was just freaking yesterday, thank you you guys... we do fairly well talking... omg i am still kinda freaked...

Well, it sounds like you're freaked in a good way, which actually feels good and is fun. Don't worry, just go with it and have a good time. If your personality is as cute as it sounds, he'll find you really endearing.

Your age doesn't make a difference--even with lots of dating experience, you still get nervous on the first date. That's just what makes it exciting. It sounds like you don't have any problems talking to him or setting up a date so far, so I'd say the hardest part is over. Obviously he likes you, so just be yourself and have fun!
