I come back online today feeling pretty upset and hurt, this is because one of my ex girlfriends (the compulsive liar who hurt me while I was with her) has been giving me more hassle today, I got into a massive arguement with her which ultimately left me in a very upset state, I hate her and don't know what to do should I encounter her again, I am in the state of mind where I do not want to go back to the town where she lives for fear of bumping into her, which conflicts with my work because it's in the same town, which I want to do

fortunately work is at the other end of town from her house so that isn't such a problem

but I'm scared, I don't know what to do

The very best revenge?

If you do bump into her...act like you don't even know she exists, and that life couldn't be better without her.

Tell him the horrors you have lived through, so he may know how much worse it can be. We'll all have some good laughs too

That's messy. I saw a movie once with an attractive female widowed an inordinate amount (I think 5ish - and she's young). Anyway, she said, about men (direct quote) "I like my men like kleenex. Soft, strong, and disposable."

Disclaimer: Lab Pet is in no way endorsing this sort of behavior implied - above quote is kidding.

On task: I don't know. You can't avoid her, as you stated. But you can politely ignore her. You can secretly hate her, but not outwardly. Voodoo doll may be in order here. I am sorry though, I know how hurt feelings are.

Relevant happening, just moments ago: I called a tax service about my 07 tax preparation, asking their hours. In conversation, I mentioned my taxes are uncomplicated......& I am single. She said (about my being single): "Good for you!" Too funny.

So, be grateful you are now single. Tax prep easier too.

I am voting for Kalister. Kalister '08. It was a toss-up between John Hinkley ("He's had a shot at the man, let's give him a shot at the job"), but I think Kalister wins. Hey Kalister, if you need a running mate (Vice Prez), Hinkley has been freed, at least on day pass. :D

True. To the OP, at least you didn't get married or have kids then you'd really be screwed.

Fortunately my lawyer was a lot better than my ex-wifes so I came out ahead. Just ignore your ex. She's being an idiot and only seeking attention.

I suggest being polite never curse or insult and don't run away b/c you have a right to be happy

and comfortable wherever you are. If she's being mean or rude politely excuse yourself and walk

away if that doesn't work just keep trying until you get away (sorry best I got for that...) DON'T

EVER MISS YOUR JOB B/C of HER EVER!! ! You have every right to be there if it gets so horrible

you just can't stand it maybe you could consider a restraining order. Oh and if you don't like her

don't have conversations with her just be polite and quickly leave her general proximity.

I know a way for you to totally destroy her car.

Thermite will burn through anything, including cars.

Try putting thermite on her car hood (google it). Then set it on fire (preferably with a timed incendiary device so you have time to get away before it burns).

Whatever you do, don't get caught.

HA HA!! ! I'm just joking. (But it's still fun to imagine)

Oooo, I happen to have the recipe for thermite rxn using Ag and Fe! Again, note my disclaimer above. Just got exicted about thermite rxn - I know how. Lab Pet is a good chemist.

yup...well, it was nigh on 20 years ago, but even then the divorce bill was over $1,000. Plus she stole some of my records...;) Having to find out where the bills were, set up accounts in your name, get your finances straight, strike her from insurance policies, 'please contact' lists at work, finding new furniture, learning to cook (or at least microwave...maybe that was part of the problem..;) Explaining to friends and family who ponied up all that money for the wedding that you blew it...;)

so, it may hurt now, but it could be worse...;)

Love the idea but she doesn't have a car, nor can she drive, lol (Disclaimer, I wouldn't use thermite on a car)

No resorting to violence, isn't going to help matters, and could end you up in jail, best thing is don't let her get the upper hand on you, if you see her pretend everything is going great, and maybe mention to her the she looks like she's lost a little weight, let her think she a fat pig, don't ever let some cow ruin your life.

she is fat, she needn't think that she is when she can see that for herself, granted she has lost a little weight, I don't know what I saw in her to be honest. I shouldn't let her ruin things, but I already did, I let her ruin things by sleeping with her a month and a half ago... I hate her, she took advantage of my suspected depression and led me on to sleep with her, I hate myself for that, but I have to live with the consequenses now :(
