Hello! I am 27 years old, live in northern Ontario, Canada. Hope I'm posting this correctly.

Male seeking Female - I am about 5'9, or 5'10. Haven't a clue really. I'm average height. 135-40 lbs, blue eyes - caucasian - Brown hair

My name is Chase. I play guitar, draw, paint, do photography and image processing, love arguing online about science (for, not against), love Top Gear (UK), QI, Would I Lie To You? Was It Something I Said? Big Fat Quiz of The Year - - - yes, I'm a closeted-britophile. Well, I guess I'm out now. Anywho, I have a short beard, and my hair is getting long, though I normally wear it short. I am pretty skinny (thanks stress and anxiety!)

As you can imagine, since I have Asperger's, I don't really have any friends. I prefer a night in, but love going out with that special someone. I don't like having to be friends with the person's friends due to proxy, (the whole "my friends are your friends now")

I recently dropped out of school and picking the pieces up again. Finding someone was probably the biggest reason why I searched out this site in the first place, because, after my diagnosis, it really made me question my capacity for love, love from the past and where I fit in with all this. Being an aspie to me means that I've had to look at past relationships through these new lenses. While I'm not proud, I can forgive myself now. I know I've made someone really happy in the past, just because I was me. But there was more to me than I realized, and hey, that's a lot to shoulder for anyone living with someone with AS especially when it's still a mystery.

I've had numerous people tell me I look like Jared Leto. It's gotten to the point where people go "you know who you look like?" "...that guy from that sh***y band, Jared Leto?"

(He's a fantastic actor, I just felt uncomfortable being compared to the guy who Ed Norton beat to a bloody pulp in Fight Club...Surely there are people who look at me and say "I don't know why, but there's something about him that makes me think of Fight Club...").

So, yeah! If you're interested in a pic of me not smiling, just ask. I can take a picture of me smiling too.

Sophie Hatter looking for Howell Jenkins for couple cosplay. No wigs accepted, you must have naturally awesome hair. I don't care if you're far away, magic can bring us together. Or planes, whatever you prefer.

That's not true, there's nothing like Australia anywhere in the world :)

Good day, ladies and gentlemen. Figured I'd post this up here sooner rather than later.

I am a 23 year old male, standing at 6' even with an average build. I have dark hair and blue-grey eyes. As for my personality, I am a driven intellectual with a strong playful/devious side. I have a passion for writing, and a wide array of interests from music to martial arts. I live in North Carolina, and I'm looking for someone around my age or younger, male or female, with a sense of humor... Not necessarily a good one, but a sense of it. Someone who can hold their own in a debate is a plus, as is someone who can hold their liquor.

(I'll explain fully if asked, but I'm not easily defined as bisexual.)

Edited to add the following, since the standard seems to be a list format rather than a short paragraph as I thought the OP meant...

Name: Ryan (Rys)
Sex: Male
Age: 23
Location: North Carolina
Physical: 6', average weight/build
Education: Some college
Occupation: Freelance writer
Religion: Spiritual agnostic
Other info: I'm a social drinker, but I do not smoke.
Seeking: 18-25 year-olds with a fun personality.

Sorry to directly link the picture, but it's all I can do for now:

I haven't posted on this in a while, so might as well. Female aspies -- we exist! :D

Name: Molly
Sex: Female
Orientation: Straight
Age: 21
Location: St. Louis, USA
Body type: slender/slim
Height: 5'3
Education: working on a BA in English/film/philosophy
Occupation: university student
Religion: none
Politics: liberal

I am an ambitious film nerd looking to be a writer/producer. I like sci-fi and fantasy books/films/TV. I'm a hopeless romantic. I'm looking for a guy who is around my age, intellectual, and career-minded. I plan on moving out of St. Louis within the next year or so, therefore I am open-minded about location.

Just out of curiosity, was that picture taken at Animal Kingdom or Magic Kingdom?

I'm not expecting this to lead to anything, just bored and having a laugh at myself. Perhaps a curious girl might one day look through the posts I've made they might find this and enjoy the read. I'm being surprisingly optimistic right now.

Name: Jeremy.
AS Level: Undiagnosed, high functioning.
Personality type: I've taken the Myers-Briggs test twice and both times got INTJ. And I'm a Taurus, if that helps.
Location: Los Angeles, CA.
Body type: Average height (5'9). I fluctuate around 125-135lbs. Not really muscular. I'd consider myself average if it weren't for all the average people calling me skinny. (I also don't eat meat.)
Religion: "As above, so below." Raised Catholic but am non-religious and interested in the occult side of things.
Politics: Anarchist. No person was born with the authority to tell others how to live their lives. Freedom + Personal responsibility.
Life goals: Live in a cave, reach enlightenment, transcend time and space.
Cats or Dogs: Either or. I would love to have a friend/pet hedgehog.
Car: Mountain bike. (I do have a car that I'm slowly trying to get running.)
Intoxicants: I drink beer socially and therefore rarely. I also inhale the smoke of dried cannabis flowers for insomnia, social anxiety, depression, and sometimes just because. I have a great desire to try psychedelics.
TV: Some of my fav's include: The Prisoner, Blakes7, The X-Files, and Firefly, and lots of animated shows.
Movies: Love movies. Love thinking about movies. Love talking about movies. The best years for movies were the late-60s to the early-80s. Sci-Fi/Fantasy and Horror are my favorite genres. I would love to one day find myself writing movies or helping make them in some way.
Star Wars or Star Trek: Star Wars, but I do watch Star Trek from time to time, no hate!
Comics: I like pretty much most things these days. Always reading something.
Books: Non-Fiction mostly, but I do I like cyberpunk and dystopian novels.
Things which make me odd(er): I have a really bad memory, especially for people, life events, and pretty much anything that doesn't interest me. I'm very absent minded and I can be really spastic at times.
My looks: Average white guy (actually mixed race). Brown eyes, spiky dark brown hair. I usually have a "3 day beard" which extends into a 2-week beard. I put a picture in that one picture thread: click at your own risk.
Things I like in girls: I really dig accents and unusual sounding voices, and retainers or braces (I love brace-faces for some reason). Mousy/geeky girls are really cute to me. (Small chesticles and long legs are nice too.) Smart, sense of humor, trustworthy. Um, that's it I guess.

My name is Spencer. I'm 21 years old and I just moved to Baltimore, Maryland this week with my mom. So I have a lot of unpacking to do.

Here's some info about me. I'm 5'9", cute, I wear glasses, I have an average body type, I have brown hair and brown eyes. I have a good sense of humor, but I don't always understand every joke. I'm pretty good at social skills, but I'm always working on improving them.

I'm going to be starting an internship at a film company. I'll probably be working as a sound editor. I love everything about the movies, especially underwater cinematography and can probably tell you the names of people who make films. I like just about any genre, but especially action. I also like chick flicks,, but not old movies. That's what I like to talk about. Just going to see a movie would be fun.

I'm not that interested in sports.

I'm interested in meeting a girl who is kind and gentle. Long hair would be nice, too. I'll try my best to become interested, snd learn more about what she is interested in.

If you think we would make a good match I'm looking forward to getting to know you.

Exactly. I'll take my chances and date an atypical NT. I'm too choosy about dating an Aspie girl. She'd need to come off a little neurotypical. And most of the Aspie girls I've met love anime. Sadly, I have no interest in it.

If I was a girl I'd be all over you. I'm a Scorpio.

I'll bite. I don't know how technically eligible I am, but I'd love to have an Aspie friend/email pal/???.

Name: Call me Eureka, for now.
Age: 57, female, straight.
AS Level: Diagnosed a few months ago, high functioning.
Personality type: I've taken the Myers-Briggs test twice and once scored as INTJ, once as INTP. (I always score INTJ on the online tests.) Scorpio, if you care about that, and pretty typical, from what I've read on the subject. Chinese zodiac sign: Monkey. :P
Location: Colorado.
Religion: Agnostic.
Politics: Socially liberal, a bit more conservative fiscally. Somewhat of an old-school (NOT tea party) libertarian.
Cats or Dogs: Cats.
Intoxicants: I don't drink or do drugs, but I do smoke cigs.
TV: Probably my all-time faves are Eureka, Warehouse 13 (hence the screen name), and Northern Exposure.
Movies: A wide variety of genres. No horror, no slasher, don't care for war, crime, police, or prison dramas, either.
Star Wars or Star Trek: Star Trek.
Books: Sci-Fi (Heinlein is my all-time favorite author), other well-written fiction. Science non-fiction, too. Insatiable reader, actually, and will read almost anything written in English, including billboards, wanted posters, and cereal boxes.
Special interests: Anything with a motor and wheels, science, weird roadside attractions, road trips (to combine them all).
My looks: Average white female. Green eyes, very long mixed bronze/gold/silver hair (the silver is slowly taking over). Some people think I'm very attractive to beautiful, but I think I'm just a bit above average.
Lifestyle: Small-town environment, like to do outdoorsy things like camping and hiking, but not all the freaking time. Not into any sports of any kind (to watch or participate in). Self-supporting but not wealthy.
Caveat: Just looking for friends since I'm still recovering from the death of my fiance at the hands of a drunk driver last August. He was also an Aspie, and I miss the honest and open way we communicated.

Not interested in anyone's money or status, just their mind and sense of humor. I have a high IQ, and a definitely offbeat sense of humor. Crappy social skills in crowds, better one-on-one, approaching excellent with someone I "connect" with.

Eureka13, I'm sorry about what happened to your fiance. I wish you a lot of mental strength and optimism to continue.

Name: Diana.
Age: 35, female, straight.
AS Level: Not diagnosed, high functioning.
Personality type: Myers-Briggs test: INTP (I(22:6), N(23:1), T(21:6), P(27:3))
My looks: Average white female. Brown-green eyes, brown hair. 161 cm, ~60 kg.
Location: Israel, I speak Russian, Hebrew, and a little English.
Religion: Jewish
Politics: Not interesning.
Cats or Dogs: Cats.
Intoxicants: No.
Books: Anything about life , psychology , human stories. Science fiction, invention.
Lifestyle: I bring up my daughter, she's 13 years old. She, too, in the spectrum, but she is studying in class for gifted children and tries to learn social skills.
I love nature, animals , hiking and cycling . Really want to learn ballroom dancing, but in my small town there is no partner for me. I go to the gym , mostly weight training, a bit of cardio.
I am fond of Chinese astrology, interior design psychology.
My special interests change . When I enjoy something, I'm obsessive about it. I completely immerse myself in it. I read and talk about it constantly. But when special interest is replaced , I do get tired of previous activities . One good thing - I gain a lot of theoretical knowledge of different areas.

I'm looking for people with whom I communicate by correspondence. Would be fine if I learn something from new acquaintances.
