I found this quote at an ADD forum, I think it says it all with my issues.

I think it is a bit weird to say this. As if being shy or not makes someone interesting or not. Ofcourse I am no woman, but the best women I know would certainly put a guy who's shy but actually has something to say above some saying nonsense loud.

The girl who said this would probably not like my shyness, but I would not mind one bit even if I was still desperate .

i think it's referring to the guys who won't come out of their shell and are too shy to talk about anything. i'm shy sometimes but once i get comfortable i'm interesting (at least to some). it would get boring if the person was too shy to talk about anything interesting, meaning anything other than small talk.

Most shy people I know have things to say once they are comfortable. I didn't really think about te other group. Ofcourse a lot of people also have nothing to say besides smalltalk, but I don't see that related to being shy or not.

About myself I am quite certain I am very very boring to a great majority of the people. The lucky thing is that the people who seem to think I am not so boring are mostly the ones I think are interesting.
