I am female and (fortunately) never have pms symptoms, but apparently this is quite common in women. I found this handy site, www.pmsbuddy.com for the men of Wrong Planet. Easy first steps! You sign-in, enter data concerning your female (ie: wife, gf, mother, your boss, instructor, etc)......& viola! The 'curse,' quantified! I 'copied & pasted' below for you from this site:

Welcome to PMSBuddy.com!

PMSBuddy.com is a free service created with a single goal in mind: to keep you aware of when your wife, girlfriend, mother, sister, daughter, or any other women in your life are closing in on "that time of the month" - when things can get intense for what may seem to be no reason at all.

For women, this is a great way to give people in your life a heads-up of when you might be feeling a bit irritable without having an awkward conversation.

What's more, we will not only keep you informed, but will give you some free advice on what to do about it. With PMSBuddy.com, there is no reason to ever be blindsided by PMS again.

PMSBuddy.com - Saving relationships, one month at a time!

Meltdowns are random and unpredictable. They cannot be quantified.

"It's that time of month again! Yes, that's right, the moment you've all been waiting for--MENSTRUATION TIME! Time to prove your girlfriend your love for her by cleaning up the blood she's leaking all over the bedroom floor, then kissing her on the cheek for good measure. No, not THAT cheek. One of the ones on her face. That's better."

Interesting observation; females seem especially attuned to their emotions and those of others - that's a given. NTs, I will say, are markedly more emotional than us - hence the confusion sets in! I think I have ~ 4 emotions in total, but I do feel (there's a difference).

Oftentimes I'm in deep thought, very quiet and pensive, but I'm not experiencing any emotion, just pure thought. Wierdly, NTs, invariably female, will 'assign' that I am feeling a mood. I'm not. In fact, I'm not moody. I'm remarkably not moody (aside from meltdowns, but that's a different story - more like a flood then).

My point: I know of some NTs females who are very emotive. They often even say, aloud, they are feeling 'moody,' or something equivalent. Sometimes, for seemingly no reason, they behave erraticly and I do wonder why. I've wondered if they're just not feeling well, something is wrong, they're upset by something tangible....or if it's hormonal (the cycle thingy).

So I do think PMS Buddy does serve a purpose! Granted, the site is 'in fun,' but as spudnik can attest - LOOK OUT!

I reviewed the site and some of the men's testimonials are very 'Aspie-ish!' Like man says (paraphrase)....."If it's PMS, just say so! Don't make me guess." Right on.

Yeah! And the service also gives reminders, even a colored alert system, like Homeland Security.
