I mean in terms of how often you talk to them or see them.

Some people speak to their boyfriend or girlfriend everyday, others seem to a lot less.

Do you think if you don't speak to them everyday that they (or you) are not really interested?

I'm generally the type of person that could go 2 or 3 days w/o seeing the s.o. but I think at least talking to them once a day wouldn't be too bad. Though I do need my space occasionally so I definitely need at least a 1 day break every now and then.

I'm cool with once a week to once every couple of weeks, depending on the situation. I've been known to tell partners to go away if they tried to interact with me too much.

I am most comfortable with having 1-2 texts or emails a day and seeing them once a week.

I can do 2 days constant company but after that I degrade and get my eye contact gets worse, I get very irritable and dont want to touch or be next to someone and that gets worse with each day until the ultimate row sends the beloved back home.

I wish I was not like that but being realistic I am like that.

Its sad as people dont tend to want relationships where they see so little of someone, or relationships that stay like that and dont progress anywhere.

I'd like to spend as much time with them as possible. I'm not sure if there is such a thing as too much contact. Having a very strong desire for a connection with one person to share myself & life with, being very caring, & having bad OCD kind of makes me quite different form a typical Aspie in the relationship department in some ways.

Ah I see it is quite varied.

At the moment I speak to my boyfriend every couple of days. We're on the same course at university but we don't see each other outside of lectures as much as in the beginning. I quite like my space and I think he's the same.
I think it's a decent balance for me at the moment (as he is my first boyfriend) although maybe if it got to the point of hardly hearing from him for over a week then I would find it a bit pointless. I mean there's no point if you hardly see or hear from them haha.

We message back and forth all day.

Answer to this question greatly depends on how long the two people have been together, and how old they are. It isn't a good idea to contact a lot when you just begin dating someone.

I think it depends more on he specific people. A lot of contact isn't bad if they both aren't realy busy & like spending most of the day chatting or if they are both obsessed with each other

That's a big issue of mine...
Seeing someone every other day is already a lot to me. I'd like to see them like 2-3 times a weeks.
Also, I would prefer not to send textos everyday since I'm often very hyper-focused on something and thinking about having to send textos is really distracting.

Btw, some people (mainly extroverts) also likes to go out really often and try new stuff. Being aspie this leads me to have shutdown or mood swings if done too frequently. I need some predictable routine that is not over the top. I don't mind going out but not multiple times a weeks and all the time.
Oh and I prefer to sleep alone in my own house/appartment. I like my morning routine!
