I have a few tips I suppose.
Move your head to her head slowly.
Don't open your mouth wider than her mouth is, that's getting slobber all over her, you want to restrict your slobber to her lips.
That's good stuff right there!
Think about the positioning of the lips... horizontally.
To get what I think of as the best fit for a passionate kiss, someone will need to turn their head slightly at an angle so the pairs of lips are more perpendicular to each other.
Biting and sucking the other person's lip(s), like you see sometimes in the movies, is okay but maybe not for the first kiss.
This whole French kissing thing might need better explanation I feel.
It is NOT sticking your tongue DOWN anyone's throat... unless you're Ace Freely I suppose
It is also NOT having your tongue reaching anyone's tonsils... their gag reflex would kick in by then if it's working okay.
Like was mentioned above... it's just the two tongues playing around with each other.
Personally, my wife seemed to like this, but I found it too uncomfortable for me to enjoy.
I really have no idea what the hell I'm supposed to be doing to/with her tongue... I prefer the lip interaction myself.
Don't try too hard, don't kiss or press too hard... go lightly at first, contain the slobber/drool, and take in the sensations.
Do you have a dog at home?
Just kidding
You know when you press your thumb against the side of your hand a bit of skin pooches out above it?
You can try kissing on that... seriously... just to learn lip control.
