What do you mean thrown around? Is it entirely disrespectful to simply ask if there are any girls my age that want to meet someone new? It's difficult enough to find someone offline, but it can be fun to find an online pen pal. I didn't do anything wrong, nor was I even asking for a date. Well , I don't want to come off as a bigot or in pertaing to males a masculinist but ...I see threads posted by girls seeking for guys.
Normally I don't take these threads seriously (in fact,I find them stupid!) I do wonder the way in which girls respond to a such male's thread as opposed to a girl's thread . (see http://www.wrongplanet.net/postt73218.html)
FYI, I know that not all girls are like this but I do find a greater number as opposed to the latter.

It's all in good fun, man. I make a post along those lines every time someone makes a post along these lines. It's a running gag, Petit Prince even alluded to it in another thread (subsequently deleted).

When you replied to a post with the line "Welcome to the ret*d what-ever"
then you are calling people names. It is not funny and just plain unessecery.
Had you talked to me in such a way person to person i would whip you. You are
honest and have no manners, but thats no reason to write things like this.
You think its funny, thats no guaranty others think so.

1. I didn't say the OP was a ret*d. I implied that I ran a dating service catering exclusively to ret*ds.
