I recently got a job in customer service as a cutesy clerk at Ralph's grocery store. During training I was told some tips to make the customers happy. I was told to look them in the face and have small talk. I was told to smile. I was told not to complain. The women told me if it is all just an act, it is that simple. Well I have noticed I can simulate emotions better then ever. Some people don't understand that something is going on in the inside even if it doesn't show on the outside. Well I figured I need to start speaking to people in public so I can be good at my job and the rest of life, without being lonely forever.

I was on the bus. I saw a beautiful girl named Charlie. I get a lot of anxiety, so I figured I would pull this off with or without forcing my self. So I started a conversation with her talking about things relative to work etc. Well this girl started telling me about herself after a while. I agreed with alot of the things and found myself very similar. I asked her for her number with a line my friend taught me it worked.

Later on I called her. I was short on minutes, but I was sure to let her no I was interested I ended up giving her my aim. I have been talking to her for a while. Now she wants to meet in person. I invited her to a double date with my buddy. Now what is happening is, so great. We are going to the mall to get something to eat and go to the movies.

Now I have found a hole in this system that would let any aspy in. I faced the anxiety. Tried to interact with society. Broke the ice. I can't thank my friend enough, but I thought I would share the good news.

Yes short for Charlot. Charlie is a nickname for Charlot in other English speaking countries besides the USA. Don't be so stereotypical.

Charlie?

I've known a girl named Charlie as well. Not the best nickname for a girl. XD
