Well, I've just got back from my "date" and it occured to me that many probably have terrible dates. Luckily for me, it all went well (though we'll just be friends) apart from the weather of all things!

So, perhaps share your date experiences? :)

Took this girl out on a date after I met her in a bar. Went well enough til she admitted to me she was actually 16, not 19 like she originally said. Man was that awkward, I'm not into jailbait.

Don’t believe in catastrophising but as you asked...

A girl cooked me dinner in university. I figured out it was a date about three years later. That may not been the first time I didn't realise I was on a date.

Oh and once I accidently put my hand in my food, which gives Mr. Bean a run for his money.

More stories in the future.

Thats actually happened to me before.

Not the dinner thing...but the whole supposedly being on a date, when you didn't think it was a date, and just a random and friendly event.

I hate realizing it afterward. I've had this experience with so many women... It would help if maybe they didn't live by the expectation that a man has to make all the moves, we live in an equal society, or at least it should be, in my view, and thus I think women have as much a right to be forward as men (I do think things are going towards this trend nowadays).

I have been attached for so long..is it concidered a "date" when it is with your long-time partner?

in that case, there have been several instances of me getting really drunk and having total meltdowns when going on the town with Flakey...too much sugar..too much alcohol...too much i dunnow...being out in public...I guess....something....and i will have awful meltdowns...sometimes I will just up and walk home...or at least attempt to...

I guess there was the time when for my birthday we went out with his mistress and her boyfriend.....i didn't even know she was his mistress at the time...but that was completely awful.... :?

My other boyfriend and I went out to a bar not too long ago (the equivalent of a "date" for us), and we made the mistake of each having a shot of whiskey. I threw mine up, and left my purse there, and once we got back to his place, he had a meltdown over misplacing his glasses where he just about wrecked his whole apartment.

AussiMatt, I don't think any of us know what you're talking about and there's no need to be offensive.

He's expecting that women should just accept the first guy that hits on them...

either that, or he's just being a troll...
