I know some of you will say don't b/c she's in a relationship but...
There is a girl that I'd like to get to know better and I wanna get her number tomorrow before class if I can I'll ask her for it not sure how exactly yet... Anyway I found out she's engaged AND she flirts with lots of guys all the time not just me 'course I've seen her flirt with other guys but if I have a chance to get a girls number AND actually chat with her and get to know and and so on I wanna try it. Especially since the last two numbers I've gotten haven't gone over well when I try to contact them. The first well she never really responded mostly and avoided my calls so after about 3-5 awkward or ignored calls I stopped bothering and the second never seemed like she wanted to talk to me and well sometimes she was friendly others she was unfriendly so now I've gotten rid of her number and I won't be calling again but I still need practice and wanna get this new girls number but I need to know how NT guys do it... I can ask I'm brave enough and she and I get along fairly well I just don't know how to get girls numbers or guys for that matter... There's another girl in my psych class who seems to like me well there's 3 of them but she's the one I've actually had a chance to talk to at all... ANYway any advice would be cool my life is always a work in progress...

If a girl is engaged, STAY AWAY for the sake of all involved, unless you just want to be friends her. Although it sounds like that one might kind of like you. A lot of girls casually flirt with guys they're not attracted to just for fun, but when they are attracted to a guy, they'll get nervous around him. Could be the case there.

As for getting a phone number, first make an excuse to start a conversation. Act really casual about it. Try to make her smile and laugh as much as possible. Find something you have in common. Think of an activity related to that. Ask her if she'd like to accompany you - because you are already having such a good time talking. Suggest exchanging phone numbers so you can work out the details later. Don't make it obvious that you want this to be a date - let her decide, whenever she's ready; she might not really know how much she likes you until you've spent some time together. So just relax, treat her like a friend, and don't pressure her.

Well she's really cool and fun and high spirited when I'm around her (which is the way I act around people myself just jokes and fun) but she'd make a cool friend he** we even have a big Dean Koontz fan thing between us which most girls I meet just say they hate reading (not all but then most guys say it too which is crazy I love to read) Anyway I just want more exp being around them so that I can deal with them better that's all...
