I am comming up to my 3rd anniversary with my boyfriend who I met on the internet. In december it will be 2 years sence I have seen him in person.

I have faith that somthing will happen to bring us together forever, I have faith in miracles .

My question is , how many of you have had a time when you had to rely solely on faith, and nothing else?

Did it work? did it fail? and how much did you believe?

The law of averages guarantees that if enough true believers expect a miracle in enough places that on the rare occasion something statistically improbable does occur it will be proof that miracles do happen.

My advice? Hope for the best expect the worst you might be pleasantly surprised.

Bringing it a step beyond faith will make things more certain.. Carve the future according to your will. Faith is a great thing to have, but what I'm trying to say is that you don't have to stop there

Due to the promise prayers of my Christian friends and relatives, I used to have faith that my dad would stop getting drunk and abusive, and eventually apologize and say he was proud of me. It never happened. He's dead now.

My dad would stop getting drunk and beating me.

I am truly sorry you had to go through that.

Lol I know what you mean, easier said than done right?
There have been quite a few times where I have simply willed for something to happen to make it happen, so I believe you have a chance as well.
However it has only worked on a small scale for me, but thats just me.

I don't think she has faith in the Christian lie, don't worry about that.

Yes it has worked on a small scale for me as well but it has also worked on the larg scale.

I found my boyfriend using faith.

I have know sence I was a child I would find someone exactly like him, down to the very smallest of details, and here he is.

I kept my faith up, it wavered often but in the end I did find him but I worry about this time it wont work.

I have a feeling it will all work out , just like I had a feeling I would meet him , but I still worry.

Your right , I am not talking about the Christian definition of faith. I just mean belief in somthing.

Her beliefs have nothing to do with the fact that her apology is meaningless to me.

Well I think it's cool you got yourself a bf and you seem really happy about it, so I would say just keep it up and things should get better for ya.
