but if a real guy with such dream qualities pops up in your life and treat you like a princess , won't you dump your current bf?

That's absurd, LPP, to make such an assumption. There are those who will 'trade-in' partners for "upgrades" over the years, yes... and there are those who make a connection and realize that their preconceptions have little to nothing to do with the realities of what they want and desire. What I find interesting is that on that list... all the superficial qualities were the ones that didn't matter - it was how she was treated and how she feels that was most important to her. Also, did you happen to note that these were her childhood expectations?

^^ maku, it's not necessary to "white knighting" for every "offensive" post I make , I was just curious and asked her that question.

She's adult and she'll know how to reply and how to defend herself. The question wasn't directed to you ,Sir.

So stop playing the advocate of all members.

*chuckle* Oh, LPP... if I were to comment on all the absurdities, I'd have no time for anything else. In this instance, you used the presumptive 'won't you' in asking the question, creating inherent bias in the question. Apparently you think that I have some delight in following your antics, which is not the case... merely that when I encounter things, I comment. There is no desire to be an advocate for others - one must learn to tend one's own garden, in my opinion - but that doesn't mean that I don't have an opinion or observation. If you have a problem with that, than I encourage you to ignore what I have to say or simply move on. I did not pose to answer any question for her, but pointed out where in her post she mentioned that these were the ideas of a child, and observe that in her relationships it was the trivial and superficial that was let by the wayside while the feelings and innate qualities remained. Try getting out of that defensive posture awhile... you might find it a little easier.

what? why would she be looking at the dream guy when she has chosen the one for her? If you aren't LOOKING to trade up then you don't even notice them because it is good at home.

That she accepts me for who I am.

I most propably will not ask her out the first time, I most propably will be too sacred to touch her hand, make the first move, first kiss, will be s&*^ scared of making a mistake, know I do make comments that may seem offensive, Do not always hear well, my eyes wander.... I can go on, oh and most importantly can forgive me for the things I do, not intentionally.

But I am loyal, honest, open, lie very little if at all, have a big heart, tell stories to share not to brag, care for them and genuinly worry about them.

If she exists, pm me.

so, see? you do have more criteria for your dream woman.

Okay. Prove it. In Colorado Springs, Conservative Christians WERE bigots.

- Big eyes and symmetrical face

- Skinny/slim and toned (been out with a bigger guy before.. don't enjoy it or find it attractive to be honest)

- Longish hair/not skinhead or shaved

- At least my height (5' 6'')

- Loyal

- Affectionate

- Aware and understanding of mental and neurological disorders (non-discriminatory)

- Geeky :D

As you read when you signed up to become a member here, Hurricane_Delta, this is a support site and we do not allow personal attacks. Keep your opinions of a philosophy in general terms and do not attack a member personally with that philosophy.

2. Personal attacks.
This includes insinuation, ridicule and personal insults, regardless of whether direct or indirect. Attacking an opinion, belief or philosophy is acceptable, but attacking the person making the comments is not.

Yes, except they suck cause they wouldn't let me become a member unless I had proof I lived in Brisbane such as a bank slip or something. Of course, all my bank details have my home address on the coast (I live in college during the year while I'm at uni).

It's very depressing, not being a member of a nearby massive library. I have certainly frequented a LOT of second hand book stores this last year...

There's probably some other way I could get around it... but I have to get around my supreme disorganization first...

That does suck. I go there a lot of the time just because it's somewhere quiet to read.

I wanted to, and I actually had some free time wandering the city after exams and was heading there, but then I met this really interesting busker at the underground corner leading to the train station, and spent several hours discussing philosophical ideas with him. :P

I've mostly read in my college room this year - it's very peaceful and quiet mostly during the day, and was high up - so it felt like I was suspended in the tree tops.

Philosophical discussions are good. :)
What are you studying?

Arts - music, writing and drama mostly. How about you? Are you at uni?

I graduated from uni at the end of last year. I studied music at the QLD Conservatorium, majoring in composition.
