Ever met someone that fit what you are looking for so well that he/she fit everything you look for, and things you didn't know you were looking for? I have, and I don't think I want to tell her that yet.

Better tell her before someone else does, and she forgets all about you.

Don't tell her too late....otherwise it could well be the biggest mistake you could possibly make (but neither too early... tricky thing that is).

Well, she is aware of my interest in her, I just haven't told her how much she fits my "ideal woman" description.

Hey, congratulations Fnord & Soaring, on getting the perfect girl!

And Padium, I agree with the consensus - don't let her get away, but the timing is important. Does she seem to like being with you? Is she even available at this time, or is she still with somebody you think she's breaking up with?

I thank God I'm not a guy and I don't have to figure this stuff out, but good luck to you. If she's the one I hope you get her!

She is single, and from what I'm hearing from her, has never been in a relationship.

I have, but i didnt tell her that flat out
the first thing i did, i didnt know and it
just unfolded as time passed. If i had said
"omg you`re just everything i want!!" i think
she would have given me a funny look
and kept a little distance, i know i would,
it would have been a little weird. But if
you know her well and thinks she like
you too, theres nothing wrong with
saying it i guess.

Yeah, thats why I haven't said anything about that yet.

I`m kinda thinking, if you dont know her well,
then theres no way to know if you like
everything about her....i usually get to
know them before i know if i like them.

Well, I've talked to her, and neither one of us are actually ready for a relationship, or have ever had one, but we are at least talking with each other know, and a relationship is a future possibility. For now though, we are still getting to know each other a bit better. I guess you could call that a start....

Yes... And he'd already been an acquaintance/casual friend for two years by the time I realized it. He makes my brain feel funny in a good way.

A few months later, I've made some progress. So far he's not scared off. In fact, I'm 99% certain he likes me as more than a friend too.

QFT. I'm engaged to the woman who not only was everything I could have imagined, but redefined what I wanted and desired; we were friends for eight years before we finally came together, despite being attracted to each other throughout that span. Give it space, but don't be afraid to express yourself in small ways. When you find the right one, everything is different.

Yes my mind is perfect, cept that I want more, I want someone else, and my mind alone doesn't cut it.

A perfect someone would be a godsend.

I'd have to (nearly) "bare all" about myself on a dating site and hope someone comes along who STILL likes me for the way I am.

I don't believe in the "perfect" someone or "soul mate", but I believe in the idea of kindred souls or two people who can relate with their similarities of emotions and/or interests, likes, and dislikes.

As for eyecandy, that's as much everywhere as the average person. Depends on what attracts or fuels that desire. But if you're only going for looks, there's probably no logic sense in that perfect someone in terms of there ever being a relationship.
