The Dream

Some 5 years ago, in January 2004, I had a strange and creepy dream where I was told by an oracle of sorts(whom I cannot remember what they looked like)that I was *destined* to meet my soulmate 7 years later(in what will be 2011). 5 years have past, Ive had 2 short-lived relationships since then and met many new people but nothng really close to having an actual girlfriend like I had 8 years ago. What I often wonder is if this is a predictive dream because if it is and its prediction is correct that has some very far reachng implications. One of them being that I really DONT have control over whether or not Im single and I cannot make it happen, despite trying VERY hard to put myself out there(online). The latter is what is frustrating me the most. I just dont have any coping mechanisms to effectively handle this being completely beyond my control.........

Well, I think it would be safe to assume you won't meet her unless you keep looking, whether it's predestined or not.

Believe me, I dont intend to change my course of action. But the point is thought that its STILL frustrating as bloody Hell for me to think I'd have to wait THAT LONG(2 freakin years!)for it to happen. I want it NOW(as in sometime this year, or even early next month if possible).

Well, it could happen. Sometimes these things just sneak up on you.

dont be too dependant on the dream, remember, its only a dream after all and it probably means nothing. For all you know, it might happen next week or next month.... dreams are usually just a collection of your thoughts from that day mixed together by ur brain....

The worlds supposed to end on 2011 too. I hope that does not happen as I would be pissed to hell about not getting married and pursing my desired career.

Well, I'm currently with a man I met through dreams. I had no idea who he was until well after the first dream. It was in the second dream he asked me out. Oddly enough, I turned him down in the dream, woke up infatuated, had more dreams, and finally found out who he was.

These things happen, apparently, so you won't hear me dismissing your prophetic dream. ;)

7... why is it always "7"? Did you break a mirror or something?

Well, at least it didn't say that you would die in 7 days...

Sorry, back on topic......

Personally, I don't think the world will end at that time simply because, whatever higher power actually exists, that god would not let belief of itself die, the mayan/aztec/inca gods are all dead gods, noone still follows their religion. The only religions that are around today all roughly started around the same time: Judeism, Islam, Christianity, Hinduism, they all have their roots in roughly the same time period. Bhuddism is a little different based on their beliefs, and I am not sure on time period for origin. So, the big three ones that have the same roots had to all originate from the same time period, which is roughly when Hinduism started. Connection? Maybe. My thoughts, If the world is gonna end, it would follow the prophecies of one of those 4 religions. I am Christian, and I am just waiting for a few more prophecies to be fulfilled before I start worrying about the end of the world.
