I've been reading of a lot of negative experiences with NT and AS marriages. Has anyone here had a successful long term marriage (NT & AS)? I would like to know becuase my wife and I are having problems recently and I could use some good news.

I actually have the opposite... my mother is the AS and my dad is the NT, and they're married almost 23 years now...

Due to the high rate of failed AS relationships, I have concluded that some Aspies (including myself) are just not equipped for relationships. However, most NT relationships fail as well, so it's really not that big a deal.

I see everyone's parents seem to be doing well. In other threads it seems like there is 100% failure in current relationships.

Maybe its generational.

People aren't as inclined to talk about how successful their good marriages are.
