There's this girl I've liked for a while, and she knows I like her. She has never said one way or the other how she feels about me, but slips little hints and jokes that could be interpreted one way or the other. She lives right across the river in Indiana, and every time I say something about hanging out or whatever, she just changes the subject.
What should I do? I really like her...

Leave her alone and accept the friendship for what it is.

Sounds to me like she's not interested. I'd keep the friendship and move on, honestly.

I really hate how women seem to have this aversion to just flat out saying what they mean. Not to be misogynostic or anything, but its Incredbily annoying.

Put the shoe on the other foot. How would you react if there was a girl that you knew, but wern't attracted too, had a crush on you. Assume that you are not attracted, but not repeled either, but there is no chemistry. She's a good friend, you don't want her to go away, but you don't want her to come any closer. Assume you have no idea how she would react to getting shot down. What would you do? What if she has a friend you like and breaking the girls heart would ruin any chance you had with the friend?
