What has caused you to shed a tear? Happy events? Sad events? Pain? Never?

The last time I cried was 2003, when my grandfather died...

Yesterday morning, because I received a lovely card from my aunt-in-law congratulating my husband and I on the 1st anniversary of our (failed) marriage.

dang, actual crying would have been in college (77 or so), when I was drunk and depressed.
Came close at the end of my first marriage, when I found the top to the wedding cake, but I toughed it ou.

yesterday, when I finally got home from work, exhausted as hell, ordered pizza but it came with no oregano (and I need oregano on my pizza... always), and after 10 mins searching I realised I'd run out of oregano and forgot to buy, but all the shops that could've possibly had oregano in stock were already closed

so I cried.

I still ate the pizza though.

I almost cried today too when the plumber who came to fix the pipes only made matters worse... I only stopped myself because he was in the house, and afterwards it was ok again so had no reason to cry.

I cry often, but only out of frustration/anger.

A few days ago I think I saw the girl I liked kiss her BF on the cheek and then my eyes started to water. I'm done going after her though, her standards are too high and she flirts with like every other guy.

Um a lil bit yesterday actually because I thought my bf might be breaking up with me... turned out he was only joking. I'm not that great at knowing when people are definately joking, so yeh... yesterday was a bit weird anyway tbh. It's kinda funny really... sometimes I do fail completely at this whole communication business.

I don't cry. I remember four times in my life spanning back to before I was 4 years old - none in over 25 years.

I honestly wouldn't have kept track. I cry easily before my periods and I cry all the time these days because my relationship generally sucks.

Despair from being lost and trapped in an alien world frequently causes spontaneous solitary breakdowns.

Empathy for fictional characters in misery sometimes. Seems odd that I have so little empathy for real people, but the plights of characters in stories can cause me to weep.

A couple of minutes ago I almost did:

My friend who is the ex of the girl I like finally emailed me a pic of her that she sent to him around this time a year ago when they were going out.

Another one of my friends pointed out how creepy it was and now I feel a little disgusted with myself and I was staring at the picture which was when her dreads were shorter and it made me remember last year when I used to do things with her in school and now I rarely ever talk to her and I missed it all so much that I almost cried. I went from being able to talk with her and occasionally walk with her in the hallway to being this big creepy white dude. Maybe she sees me differently but I can't see it any other way. I almost cried while writing this
