This is a branch from AutisticMalcontent's post

I really like foreign languages and I am pretty quick at learning them. I myself like foreign girls especially Italian girls and other types of girls from the mediterranean, sothern europe, and the balkans. I know spanish and a little bit of italian it's similar to spanish. One of my teachers said that someone told him to write down the girl of his dreams on a piece of paper and he did. The girl of his dreams eventually ended up being a woman from malta or sicily, i can't recall. but i have seen his wife she was a teacher at our school at one point. anyways i wonder if he had the problem of having women in this egotistic culture of ours accept him.
I'm going to spain in June and I'm excited i wonder if European and foreign women are more accepting towards differences. i wonder is spaniard and italian girls are more open minded or any other foreign girls/people when it comes to romance. And I may have a better chance at having a girl I want if i move back to a foreign country because there is more of a variety of those certain girls. I like learning about other cultures. sometimes my mom and oldest brother act as if i'm betrying my race "black people"...but I'm not....i'm just opening my mind to other varieties of people and customs. i mean they admire the fact that I can speak foreaign languages, but they worry that the other races may not accept me as I accept them because i'm black or a different race.

What do you all think. do foreign people accept differences? is it a good idea? will they accept my culture of just me period? do they have different views of what romance should be...or is it the same everywhere? and I'm going to spain in June so what should I look out for?

To other cultures, Americans are a foreign culture. Each one is different, and every person will be even more so... don't depend on stereotypes. I hope you enjoy the trip to Europe, though - that's a great opportunity.

Do I count as "foreign" since I'm Canadian?

Your definition of "foreign" is far too broad. Every person in every culture in every country is different.

I'm mulatto and I have a mad crush on an Italian friend of mine. My brother told me Italians aren't too fond of black people, so I asked my friend about it. He said some Italians call blacks "eggplants" :/. Don't get your hopes up about people abroad. At best, people will think you're exotic and fascinating, or hell, just another curious foreigner, but at worst... you and I both already know what that's like. You appear to be a handsome man of the world, so don't get bummed out either. ^_^

I always loved the mediterranean.

Good luck and have fun!! !

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Experience that for what it is, and if you happen to meet a beautiful spanish chick, see her for who she is not what she is just like you would want to be treated. If she happens to not like you just because you're black and aspie, then her loss /:

My view is natural to have specific tastes, everyone does. You have to accept that some tastes may limit your options. Then again not having tastes is impossible. Knowing another language should help you.

One thing to look out for that I fallen for is tot he think that because someone is foreign, they are an outsider therefore they will understand you better. It is not necessarily the case. One thing that can happen is hey start of clueless of the culture, but by the time you get to know them there are already more clued up then you are.

Yet you call yourself a mule? Further down in south America their use Mestizo, which means mixed. Criollo actually refers to the idea of Spanish American with only Spanish ancestry, in it non broad meaning.

I don't think all Italians are hostile to different race. Probably the more cosmopolitan, and younger the less prejudices there are.

Well a couple years back this Italian girl let me rub her feet..she was cute. Then last year there was this other one who let me as well. And last year i got an Italian girls number at my school on the first time I talked to her....she is beautiful. and a nice girl......she is from new york....i talked to this one on myspace that I didnt even know and she replied back forever. sooo much that I stopped replying to her (and yall know me) lol............i wrote her about feet and all kinds of weird stuff.
It seems that the Italian women have the looks of women that can be stuck up....but deep down inside...(the ones that I've encountered) there are pretty kind hearted and open minded. I've also heard that Spaniard and Italian women love Black men.
My brother's girl friend was half black and Italian and her mom is Italian and black dad. I believe Mariah carey is black and Italian. Alicia keys is half black and Italian for sure.

I only see black men and Italian women go out though. Not Italian men and Black women. This must mean that there might be some type of racism within the italian community. IDK.I'm not jumping to any conclusions. but there is a movie by spike lee called Do The Right Thing where there are Italian guys calling black people "High jumping, chicken eating, Michael Jordan".....but that's just a movie and it's written by a black man.....but i dont know if people really think like this. But just like white women and black men who go out all the time. But there arent many black women and white men. and many people dislike black men going with women of their race for whatever reason. I believe it's some sort of jealousy that they think black men are taking their women. I dont try to take peoples women. I can barely get a girl anyways. but no one knows that. they see a handsome black guy and all of a sudden what comes to their heads is he's a player.

The thing I'm most afraid of when dealing with other races like italian girls and so forth is how the family will react. it's hard being accepted by many people as I am an aspie and black just adds more of a problem. should this be a concern of mine?

I wouldn't recommend it. Racism is global. How do you feel about a bi-racial woman from Europe? or from the U.S.? Bermuda? By bi-racial, I mean black/white. Many of us look like the physical types that you are attracted to even thought we are not. There is a website called mixedfolks.com ALWAYS be careful with sites and meetings. ALWAYS be careful. Go on your trip and have a good time but don't get too close!! and always be a gentleman. "Everybody" loves a gentleman. Don't expect too much. You seem to want to put your "soul" into a vacation. Enjoy the "people" and the "place" as a whole. You are DESERVING of that. Don't use a vacation to fill a void. You still have to come back home. PLUS! You don't want to get "used" abroad or here. You don't deserve that!! You may just find that "type" you're looking for but she must also be a "good" person on the inside. What's the use of having a scrumptuous babe if she's a rotten b***h?
