I seriously believe that anything that happens to a person shapes a person. The thing is, you are the one that decides how to handle it. If you do that in a way that you don't (mean to) harm other people, you're definitely not a loser, though if you start sobbing over yourself and bother others with it, I probably would tend to think of this person as a loser.
Life gives you strawberries? Eat them, they're yummy.
Life gives you lemons? They might be a bit sour, but with a little sugar, you can make lovely lemonade...
Life gives you aspie? It doesn't change who you are, it just gives it a name... You're still you, no matter what you think/say you (might) have

=)

Who a person is as an individual is not going to change by attaching a label.

Labels can clarify, but they have no power in themselves.

Don't forget, even Bill Gates is an Aspie. Look how far he's come.

Good luck!

Has he been diagnosed, or do people just suspect it?

Just because you have pride doesn't mean you have to tragically fall... same with aspergers.

it depends on what you're competing in...;)

It's your life, and you're free to live it in the best way you know how. If you're happy, how does that make you a loser? I felt like a loser a lot of the time, until I found out about this place.

HELL NO. You're just different from most winners, that's all. If people say you are a loser and you believe them, now THAT makes you a loser. But if you tell them to shove it somewhere and believe yourself, that makes THEM the losers.

Just look at yours truly; AS at the age of five, add 12 years and now no one can tell the difference.

Hope this helps.

I am only a loser when I play poker. Can't seem to get the poker face right.

Having Asperger's does not repeat does not make you a loser by any means.
