I'm with you!!
As a group, no, I don't like people. But individually I generally only don't care for people until they a) overload my senses (with noise, a lot of obnoxious movements, etc) or b) say something hateful and ignorant ("if you don't like America move to Iraq" "Kill all Liberals" <---I've actually seen this as a bumper sticker). Having moved even FURTHER south than I was before, I find that my prior case by case evaluations have been replaced by a PROVE ME WRONG attitude. I'm slowly but surely losing faith in people.

Well, SpaceCase, I live in Tennessee right across the border. And with all these religious nuts and just plain ignorant folks running around, I long for the day I can move somewhere more intellectually friendly..... like say, Afghanistan?
My misanthropy depends on what mood I'm in. I get into my "I hope a nuclear holocaust wipes out all mankind" mode when I dwell on how people hurt each other over a bunch of bull. Or it's sometimes when I'm mistreated/misunderstood by people for things about myself I have no control over.
