Hi Kate.

Sunday 10th sounds fine. I'll try to be there. Although i'm rather anxious about it all. I'm still very much in the closet about my "disease", so this will be my 'coming out' party as it were.

Wow that would be interesting. How would everyone find each other though?

Hi Kate,

10th May at 2pm sounds fine, I'm pretty sure I'll be able to come and will let you know one way or the other as soon as possible.

Really hope you can make it. I was very anxious about my first meet up ... but I'm so glad I went. It's so much easier connecting with and getting on with other people on the spectrum than neurotypicals. I think most of us who'll be going will understand your nerves and what you're going through, so that should make things easier for you. Would be great to see you even if you tell yourself to come just for half an hour. I hadn't met any other autistic people till my meet up (who were adults, knew about their condition and were willing to talk about) and talking to others with the same experiences as me was hugely validating.

Nice one! I'm actually in leicestershire, so if any uk members here are ever thinking of organizing something around that area please please let me know! I've never actually met up with people who I wouldn't need to constantly be on my guard around. ^^'

Hi Kate,

I'm assuming that the meet-up is still on for this Sunday at 2pm at the National Theatre café?

Yes, it's still on! All systems go! Though it's in the bar not the cafe (it's quieter in the bar)

I may or may not be there. I don't have much money for the train.

Where are you coming from (roughly)? Outside London? Consider coach to Victoria, then bus.
