honestl, have you ever had sex?
yes, i was drunk and it was a nightmarish experience because she was fat and ugly. i was walking funny all the next day. my balls hurt. i cringe at the memory.

why can't i meet anyone decent? i'm not talking super-beautiful or anything, i'm not shootin' for the effin' moon, but someone who likes me for me? most girls seem to think i'm weird. ones that don't even know me or have even tried. i've been trying to shake the impression for years, but i guess i unconscious just send out that vibe. it's supremely frustrating....

That is mean.
not trying to be mean. i'm just relating the experience. i'm blunt and not going to paint a pretty picture for your convenience. some tell me i seem to not have a mental buffer, that my thoughts come out directly and i say things without thinking, i guess it's true. if you can honestly tell me you've never had a shallow thought in your life then i'll be quiet. "let he who has no sin throw the first stone."

however though i have my moments where i fail to realize i'm being inconsiderate of others. i do still feel bad when i do realize how big of an a$$hole i've been even unintentionally.

so that being said, i'm sorry if i have offended you with my careless words :?

forgive me?

And what have we learned from this experience, Sean?
DON'T HAVE SEX WHEN YOU'RE DRUNK!

Think about it; you already have a communication and executive processing disorder, and alcohol only makes that worse WITHOUT improving your social skills. Plus way worse stuff could have happened to you than her being fat and ugly. She could have had herpes, chlamydia or god knows what else. You could have gotten her pregnant. Basically you're lucky that's all that happened to you.
umm, whoaaa, you act as if i've never heard of condoms. i wore one, in fact insisted on it out of paranoia. chillax

secondly, drunk is the only time i've ever gotten close to getting any. and for the record i've never taken advantage of drunk chicks. and i don't drink excessively. however i do drunk enough to cut away some of the inhibitions magnified by my AS. like the not talking much part, antisocialness, etc.

it's not something i do regularly, not a dependence issue. just a way to cut loose on occasions.

hmm. i wonder if "metrosexuals" do that. i know gay (NT) males do.

in regards to gossip. if the gossiper (who's said hurtful things about you "behind your back" but within clear hearing range) is then very "nice" to you---does that mean he/she on some level likes you? or is it completely about appearances?

second question: when an NT says, "come by later"---what exactly does this mean? (or is that a euphemism too---something pleasant-but-not-quite-meant?)

I think it means, "visit me later"...but then again I'm not American and that is a very American way of speaking.

Next question: why is it bad to ask women how old they are? When I was at primary school (5-11 years of age) it was a standard question when meeting someone new. Why is it different now I'm a bit older?

in this country, we're taught to be embarrassed about our age past a certain point. it's a media thing.

the thing i'm trying to figure out is what "later" means exactly? or are people being intentionally vague because they really want you to go away? (kind of like, "i better let you go now" often really means the person saying it really wants to get off the phone.)

this is the kind of thing i'd like some neurotypical input about. explain the culture. solve our problems? i was too polite: NO! don't presume!
