I don't think I'd have understood "overcalling" if it wasn't paired with "overtexting". Overtexting I take to mean texting too many times, thus, overcalling would be calling too many times. So, I take "overcalling/overtexting" to mean calling and/or texting too many times. That's the understanding behind my replies, anyway, and seems to be the understanding of the other folks who have commented, best I can tell.
