I personally have always had way more in common with the guys. More to talk about, common interests and perspectives on things, etc. This has been lifelong - almost all my friends were boys when I was younger, too. It was fun to be the only girl and often the instigator of trouble. I'm glad I'll never have kids, because I expect I'd end up with a girl who was just like me. Karma, ya know?
Women get freaked out by me too easily, even if we connect in the beginning, they are often put off by my "intensity". I have a few female friends, but we aren't very close. All of my friends are over 45. I'm in my early 30s.
