Well im just off to go speak to Lotusblossom IRL today one of the topics of our conversation will be re-starting regular meetups again in the central London area hopefully I will have something to feedback to you regarding that Bunneth.

Due to my work commitments I probably won't always be free or available to organise such meetings but Lotusblossom has expressed that she would like to get back to doing groups again as she had to give them up earlier this year. So I imagine if we can come to some kind of arrangement of sharing the responsibility of organising then a problem shared is a problem halfed so to speak.

Hi,

I am interested in attending the meet-up, as usual I will let you know on the day if I am attending or not (don't see anything getting in the way at the moment).

Very glad that you decided to get the meet-up going again Laz.

Lotusblossom, Hope you can find the time to attend the meet-ups again,

Can you PM me your mobile no. Laz- so I can let you know if I am attending/ catch up with meet-up depending on when I arrive in London; Cheers.

Well thats if all goes to plan, could just be me turning up next saturday

Like I said, organise one in canada i'll come along 8) Less hassle going there then the USA the security over there get a bit too touchy feely for my liking.

2011 wrong planet canadian meetup FTW :thumleft:

we totally have the same backscatter machines and rubdowns to pass security for flights. i had to pick between those two for a flight between major canadian cities. i was disappointed that i didn't get to see my own image.

it's hard to schedule meetups as the country is too wide. sometimes people in ontario schedule something, but i'm in a smaller province.

Well I went to canada in 2002 shortly after the 9/11 attacks taking full advantage of the huge discount in the cost of flying over there. I set off the metal detector machines everytime regardless of how much I strip down. But they didn't make that much of a fuss.

Maybe given this is the second largest country on the planet it should be a wrong planet tour of canada though I can't imagine there being too many people to meetup with in the more northern provinces.

shouldnt present us with any problems at all, unless anyone wanted to pick up some new clothes whilst in london in which your choice of retail outlets will be a bit limited :)

Well the town I spent most of my life growing up in is described as "The worlds first garden city" concieved by the quaker Ebinizer Howard who created the concept of "garden cities" which were emulated in Germany NZ and other parts of the world, and also partly inspired more modern cities such as Milton Keynes in the UK which is 40 minutes drive from here.

I work as an information Liason worker for the National Autistic Society
