I have been called a snob by some of my teachers when I used to go to high school because I didn't want to mix with the other children. In fact I was very shy at the time and didn't know how to talk to people properly. I was afraid I would say the wrong thing and embrass myself. A snob is someone defined as: "a person regarded as arrogant and annoying". Someone being arrogant is always showing unwarranted self importance, I don't act like that! Someone once said I was a reserved person. Silly teachers

There was this aspie girl that I hung out with and she would not look at me at all and she would ignore my questions, where she would also talk about what she wanted to and a lot of the times she was preoccupied with other people , I feel this is snobby, but I guess it could be a weird form of shyness.

I wish I hadn't seen this. Now I'm going to be paranoid about whether I'm perceived as a snob. Oh dear...

I find snobs keep their backs straight and shy people tend to lean down.
