Big Brother may or may not have been a real person. But even if he was invented, in a way he still did have an identity, and so he may as well have been 'real' like people that were born.

He was a symbol of authority (duh). Someone to love and fear at the same time. (Kind of like Jesus actually)

No, it is definitely 4. They teach you that it is in school, so why can't it be?

Allow me to demonstrate.

  +  =
2 devils + 2 devils = 4 devils

 It's not hard to figure out what 2 plus 2 is.

Two of what? If you put two rabbits together with two more rabbits, the odds of them being all the same gender are minimal, so the total can reasonably be expected to increase exponentially with time.

Somewhere I read an explanation for making 2+2 equal 5.
2.4 is rounded off at 2.
2.4+2.4=4.8, which is rounded off as 5.

2.4+2.4=4.8, which is rounded off as 5.

But rounding off doesn't mean that the numbers are equal, it's just an approximation. Meaning that 2+2 can approximately mean 5, but it's not equal.

Except that it cannot. 2 refers to the actual number 2, and if you state it as being 2 then it cannot be 2.4 by how you defined everything. Like you said, approximations are just that, 2 does not = 2.4 by its definition so therefore if we add two 2s they cannot be 5.

16 - 36 = 25 - 45
4^2 - 9*4 = 5^2 - 9*5
4^2 - 9*4 + 81/4 = 5^2 - 9*5 + 81/4
(4 - 9/2)^2 = (5 - 9/2)^2
4 - 9/2 = 5 - 9/2
4 = 5

i find this topic very amusing, and educational, i like the points many people bring up...
logically, 2+2=4, logically.
you can explain, logically that 2+2=5, with 2.4 & 4.8...
you can point out other mathmatical anomalies, such as the one (mentioned earlier by another) with the men and the $30,
you can deny, only veiwing things logically, and claim it to be 4, too..
but things don't have to be logical, and just because you can prove something illogical to be logical. but elders aren't always right... a quote from a famous aspie called Albert Einstien says " if your theories don't fit the facts, change the facts"...
just because others can prove it isn't real, doesn't mean it isn't, think about religion, millions of scientists, such as Darwin, can prove that christianity, bhudism, or anything else isn't true, but people still believe in them, only fools trust logic, and logic only... to stick to christmas spirit: "seeing isn't beleiving, beleiving is seeing"

(4 - 9/2)^2 = (5 - 9/2)^2
4 - 9/2 = 5 - 9/2
4 = 5

Just for fun...

16 - 36 = 25 - 45, thus -20 = -20

Continuing on...

4^2 - 9*4 = 5^2 - 9*5
4^2 - 9*4 + 81/4 = 5^2 - 9*5 + 81/4

Of course 81/4 = 20 1/4, but that is beside the point.

(4 - 9/2)^2 = (5 - 9/2)^2
4 - 9/2 = 5 - 9/2 ... or, 4 - 4 1/2 = 5 - 4 1/2

Since (-1/2)^2 and (1/2)^2 both equal 1/4,
then ... hey, 4 does equal 5!

NOAH - thanks for this fun arithmetic. I'm gonna pass it on to my dad and siblings. They are all NTs but will still get a kick out of it.

I like it too love riddle question's, like how some of these tv riddle ones go on for hour's come up with the answer, comes up then your totaly lost think it over again come up with a different answer still wrong...

And at the end they never show the riddle answer... I am sure they just keep moving it when you get it as they say it is sealed in the envelope but how do we know it's the same one.... + they never show it...

Notice this jesus - isnt it god that look's down on you... ( Jesus died ) + would like god to stand infront of me and tell me he is real or even so jesus to pop up and say look I am alive again....

I like the humour bible missing page lol
