Bags can be an attachment object? Geesh, then I have a bunch. I have a shoulder bag I load with books whenever I go out, too. Always the same books -

Harlan Hubbard by Wendell Berry
Call of The Wild & White Fang by Jack London
Tribe of Tiger by Elizabeth Marshall Thomas
...and a plethora of orchid books.

The one book I never let leave my side is: Wild Love Affair by Connie Bransilver. 8O I take it everywhere.

This was a post I posted last July on my old account! Now that things are different I'd like to share! Oh, and I strongly dislike billy idol now BTW!
I have 4 Buffy dolls. One from season 1, one from season 2, one from season 3, and one from season 4.
The one from season 2 is my favorite! It is smaller than the other 3. The other 3 are 12" and the season 2 doll is 9" so she's a good size!
I bring the smaller Buffy doll everywhere I go! We do everything together! She is my best friend and my truest friend!! I adore her! She is my most prized possession! She makes everything ok! I live in a pretend land with her! We have dance parties and slumber parties for real! IMO, for me a doll is much easier and more comforting than a cd cover! I just feel so happy, content, secure, and comfortable with Buffy!

Back in my Punk days, I used to carry Sid from Flushed Away, everywhere I went. :O)

Does my wallet, cellphone and sunglasses count? I never leave home without them, and I feel naked without.

My hat. It's practically my trademark. I feel odd without it. Also, sometimes I have some sort of jacket or parka that I insist on wearing unless it gets so hot that I get overheated.

For several years it was my stuffed Fennec fox, but she has gone places with me for a long while now. My main attachment object is my Blanket, who I've had since birth. I won't tell you her name, since she likes her privacy. She doesn't go out in public with me, but she's always near, and goes in the car with me.

It was. Her punk days weren't so long ago. :)

Your Blanket sounds a lot like my dolphin plushie, Dory! I take her along in my bag, but she never comes out, and I never draw attention to the fact that she's there - unless I'm talking about her and someone asks to be introduced, of course! :D

That's so cute!! That's like my Buffy doll! She always has to be with me, especially in the car where I feel the most panicky! She always has to sleep with me, but I bring her out with me, but I keep her in my purse.

I have three small blankets I've slept with since I was a baby. Now that I'm 18 and leaving for college I have to leave them behind, though.

Yes.....if you just mean objects that you're attached to. Mine are my bathrobe which always has to be beside my bed for me to sleep and two stuffed animals....they are "stuffed microbes" :) ......one is a brain cell and one is a white blood cell. I probably got so attached to these two because I have anxiety about my health....these could (obviously) be symbolic of good health. They have a special spot across from my bed on the right front corner of my bed and I hold or pet them sometimes when stressed.
