I can get into any situation and never get taken advantage of. Everything real affects me, everything fake barely even registers as movement. I assumed this was an autistic thing but maybe it's a combination autism + personality disorder thing.

Sounds more like you have a superpower, fraac. The bull-o-meter to tell when someone is completely "full of poo," as they say. I am jealous of your power. Can we trade?

I can't tell if a crazy person is lying, only if a person is crazy or if a sane person is lying. I think it's a combination of autistic perception and my parents being harmful and teaching me to trust no one. I think that means most anyone here has the native ability but maybe not the attitude or inclination.

Play with everyone, don't try to get in anyone's head or think you know anyone, stay honest, give away everything you don't need and nothing you do. If you never judge anyone then the smart manipulative ones will give you free things so they don't have to reveal themselves and the stupid ones will assume they know you and reveal themselves, and the ones like you will give you free things, maybe including stuff you need.

It's the Jesus message, basically. Jesus was autistic and he worked out a game theoretically optimal solution to human interaction. It fascinates me that this hasn't been widely noticed.

You should start a seperate topic based solely upon this, and how you think the rest of us could learn/focus in on this,

I for 1 would be wildly attentive.

Yeah, bang on!! That thought had fleetingly crossed my mind at least once in the past. I mean, how can people promote bigotry and bullying towards Aspies based on distorted views of them being "insensitive" and "selfish" when those Aspies are frequently the targets of manipulation playing on guilt.

People are bullied because they're seen as weak. That's the only reason anyone is ever bullied. Reasons like 'insensitive' and 'selfish' are excuses after the fact. It would help many autistics if they understood this.

One tip, never ever give out money to anyone who asks unless there family or extremely close friends. Anybody, any less, dont give out money no matter how sorry they may make you feel. $ money scams are the most common out there and even NTs fall for money scams.

There is one exception, legit charities. Generally the legit charities have huge names to them are heard commonly around the community: such as the Red Cross. If someone walks up to you for a charity you've never heard of, don't give.

They don't do it consciously, except for psychopaths - and they can't imagine how people feel so their manipulation style is limited. Just ask me, I know the subject better than anyone.

By only acting in your own - or your family's own - interest. Only those. And if it sounds too good to be true, it's not true. Never give money to anybody except people you are buying something from, and make sure it's the quality you want. Don't loan money. Don't believe hard luck stories. Don't try and help somebody out unless you know them very very well, and never expect anything in return.

Thats the key right there.

ONLY give something away. Dont "lend" even if the other person SAYS its a "loan". Only give it out if you can affoard to never see it again. IF you happen to get it back consider it a Christmas Miracle, and move on.

Well, for me the rule is
1. Don't trust anyone
2. Don't follow orders blindly
Although I myself hasn't succeeded in following my own rules, and thus Im always taken advantage of by people...

I am extremely manipulative Namaste. I had to learn to be. I'm great at it now. I set everything up like dominos.
