This is so terrible...........but dont worry you are not alone
same happens with me.
I work with this NGO and i noticed that the teachers who work with me
are more interested in befriending the teachers from other participating schools
they call each other up, they meet outside, they even go out on friendly visits
they whisper when i am around and have added each other on facebook
thankfully i have been on facebook from many years and know very well how the system there works
so i never went onto add them.
also i dont go and sit with them...........i just sit in the corner
all this creates more sensory problems and i go deep into depression.

To the thread starter, being in a group that doesn't appreciate you is like wearing a straitjacket. It wastes your time with no gain. Unless of course you find a use for it. Be it to kill time or finding out good things to know.
If your by yourself, then you are free to pursue reading or other useful activities. Value your time!

(I didn't really get why you needed to associate with these people in the first place)

How is that rude? Not returning someone's request to be a friend on a social media site is the prerogative of the person being asked. I've also heard people talk about how rude it was to cease being friends with someone on Facebook, with which I also disagree. This extra layer of what I call inherent drama is why I canceled my Facebook account.

It was rude because they appeared to be a friend to Pokerface. When they didn't want to add them on facebook, that tells me a lot that they didn't really like them in the first place. I really doubt is Poker cared that these peers were going on trips.

I don't like that people read into things like that. Again, this is why I canceled by FB account. It's like teenage clique antics brought into the online/adult world.
