Yep. I can certainly relate to a lot of the stuff above. But I recently decided that I couldn't be bothered any more and if people couldn't take me as I am then they simply weren't worth knowing.
Sometimes it works all right. People I know say I have an interesting sense of humour because I do a lot of word-play and literal answers.
