I have had it happen before, but it works both ways since I have done it too. My understanding is that I have to watch how sensitive I am around others as there are plenty of times where I lack any sensitivity.
I recall there was one conversation I was having on Friday during a meetup with this one lady. Another guy butted in to start a conversation, and I knew right away what he was going to try and do. The lady and I were only talking for a couple of minutes and that guy left us alone anyway. I don't think she minded who she was talking to and I was the last person to see her out. Another lady I talked to later on mentioned that she thought this particular guy was offputting and after she said that, guess who came along to start a conversation with us. This guy was not AS or ASD by any means, I just think the women in this group could sense something and I sensed it too.

When it happens, I usually say I'm right here, why don't you ask me.
