I hate weddings i'm I wrong?
I hate weddings too. I always feel awkward when I'm at a wedding, and I have nothing to say to anyone and just tend to cling to the people who I have gone with. I also feel really bored and agitated, and feel that extroverted people there are quietly judging me because I am so quiet. I even get too afraid to dance, so I just sit there stiffly, unsure of what to do.
But I suddenly become all sociable when somebody I'm with says we are going home shortly. I'm like, ''OK!'' then jump up and start talking to people, because of the glee of going home.

I usually follow the get drunk and mingle approach... I tend to better at weddings with close friends or family where I'm around people that know I'm kind of odd...
I did have an excellent experience at a wedding back in January. The bride's grandmother couldn't make it, so they put me in charge of Skyping the ceremony and other important parts. Having something to do made me forget about my shyness and people were more forgiving of my awkwardness because, hey, I helped the bride's grandma... I can't be all bad! :0p

I had to go to my cousin's wedding a few years ago. I remember losing it because I was jealous of her; I did not have anyone in my life back then to talk to or dance with at the wedding, which made it even more stressful for me. I'm also not as fond of weddings because of how long they take sometimes. I have to go to my stepsister's wedding in a couple months; I'm not really keen on going, but maybe I can ask my BF to be my plus-one to make it less stressful.
