I don't know if I become enlightened by the fact in recent years but I seem to be incompatible with everyone that I've met and only know it has finally sunk in, since I've become aware of being on the spectrum and my recent diagnosis, it explains why now I realise that i'm not quite right, I have awkward tendencies, I have many issues with being out in public with crowds and noise, I don't seem to fit in with this world, it's like i'm detached from everything, I can't connect with or people (humanity) or with the world in general, I sometimes now question my mental state of mind, I probably now not even making sense to you lol.

thinking about it, ignore the message above

Erm... I like music,i play the drums I like collecting mythological things, fairies, cats, gothic or fantasy art and I like to sometimes draw. What kind of things are you interested in?

It makes perfect sense to me. Sometime I can go out into public if I have to, but I like just staying in my room away from the rest of the world most of the time. Don't be ashamed of being attached from the rest of the world if that makes you happy. Just because we don't want to go to bars or go to parties does that mean we don't deserve to be happy.

I like music too. I don't play any instruments but I am trying to work on my singing. I am into going to church and some people think that is mythological so in a way we have similar interests. I also like poker and I like investing in stocks. I watch a lot of sports and do some volunteering too.

Thanks, tbh I was expecting a comment, saying something like this women is crazy or you need help.
Lol same, unless I have to go out, I too like to stay in my room.
that's true, unfortunely though not wanting to be social has made me even more detached from others, we live in a world where being in constant interactions with others is essential.

Cool, what type of music do you like? what type of music do you sing?
yeah that's true! churches are mystical I like the angel statues and the general designs of churches and graveyards are peaceful place too. Are you religious?
Cool, I don't know much about stocks tbh. cool sounds like you've got a lot of hobbies and interests. I'm not one for sports personally, what type of sports do you like? volunteering that's a good cause.

Does being detached from others make you unhappy? Sometimes it does for me, but other times I think I am happier that way. Or maybe you just haven't find the right person or people to make you happy. I have to interact with people to an extent at work and other places which I can handle in general. Actually try to get to know people on a deeper level I have more trouble with.

I honestly like a variety of music. I like alternative rock more than anything but I also like a lot of classical. I have been taking lessons and actually sang a wide variety of songs. I am Catholic. I like going to church and singing the hymns. I like baseball, football, and basketball and I like to play tennis sometimes. I volunteer helping poor people budget their money and teaching kids to read. What types of music do you like to listen to? Do you have any drawings that you could show?

Truthfully? yes and no! I know that sounds crazy, I love being on my own and being alone but I also like to at least engage in conversation occasionally with people that aren't family if that makes sense? this probably makes me and mixed up but I like their to be a balance, too much socialising is draining but not enough can be somewhat lonesome.
It's not even about socialising with people, it's just having someone to talk too every now and again even if it's just online it's something. It's good that you see sometimes being detached from others makes you happier, it's better to be alone then with the wrong crowd I'd guess. Yeah it is hard to get to know people on a deeper level, that's harder then general small talk in a way.

Sounds like you've got an eclectic taste in music, do you enjoy singing? have you always been catholic?
Cool, so you're quite sporty and active then. That must be very rewarding helping the less fortunate. I like rock pop to rock, metal and heavy metal kind of music. I haven't got any drawings to upload atm but I do have a slideshow video of previous drawings on my YT channel, tbh they aren't professional or anything, they are just random things that I've drawn.

I enjoy singing. I haven't figured out if I am good at it or not lol. Actually I just recently officially became Catholic. I have gone through a variety of denominations in my day. Are you religious at all?
What is your YT channel? You can PM it to me if you are uncomfortable posting it here.

My family like to call autism awkwartism due to the awkward tendencies we have, that comes with autism.
It's not meant to cause offense, autism runs in my family and we try to make light of our differences.

I use humor to deprecate myself sometimes. It helps make some people relax a little around me. But, I am fiercely defensive against generalized joking about people with ASD. My family has always relied on humor for most of our discussions. My eldest sister says that I haven't perfected the "perger" part, so until I do, she will recognize the only part of Asperger that I have accomplished ... the "Ass" part. Hehe.

Yeah it's ok to make a light joke of our differences as long as it's not to cause offense.
think a lot of people with AS will also defend ourselves, if it was offensive.
"haven't perfected the perger part" but the ass lol :P
